How UNThent Works

	You enter a bank check number for a check drawn on your    account.
	Ethent calculates an unpredictable number (UNumber) for your    check number.
	You print or write the UNumber on your check.

When your bank receives one of your checks (or its equivalent) your bank will be able to authenticate the check number for Free at Ethnet's Web site.

How Ethent's Free Authentication Works

	A bank check with your account number is presented to your    bank.
	Your bank supplies the check number and UNumber printed on    the check to Ethent.
	Ethent calculates the UNumber for the check number provided    by the bank.
	Ethent compares the calculated UNumber to the one printed on    the check.
	Ethent supplies the results to your bank.
	Your bank decides whether or not to pay the check.
