  • Authentication
This demo will show how Ethent's Two-Factor Authentication system can be used to increase a Web site's Sign In or Log In security and prevent illegal access to the site's customer accounts.

    One-Factor Authentication
Usually when someone Signs In to a confidential area (email, accounts, etc.) of a Web site a name and password are required. This is called one-factor authentication - one factor, something the user knows (name and password) is used for authentication.

    Two-Factor Authentication
Usually when someone uses an ATM machine a card and a PIN number are required. This is called two-factor-authentication - one factor, something the user knows (PIN Number), and the other factor, something the user has (card), are required for authentication.

    This Demo
This demo shows how a two-factor authentication system can be used to authenticate a user before providing the user with access to a Web site.
